Ryan O’Grady is a financial planner on the Northern Beaches and the founder of Everyday Wealth, helping clients structure their finances so their money works more efficiently over time.

Everyday Wealth is a boutique financial planning practice based in Brookvale, working with clients locally and across Australia.

My approach to financial planning

Ryan focuses on helping clients understand how their financial decisions work together, rather than treating each part in isolation.

Experience and background

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

He also holds SMSF accreditation and is a graduate of the AMP Horizons Academy.

Ryan has been providing financial advice for over 10 years and has been recognised as a state and regional finalist for Adviser of the Year.

Ryan has also been a national finalist multiple times for Practice of the Year and Client Value Proposition.

His focus is on providing clear, practical advice that helps clients make informed decisions and structure their finances to support their long term goals.

I was previously managing my own shares, but because of the higher brokerage fees I would wait until I had saved enough to make each purchase worthwhile. At the time, I thought that was just normal. During our initial consultation, Ryan pointed out that I could actually be missing out on potential gains by doing it that way. Ryan took the time to clearly explain how the platform he uses works, show me examples, and walk me through what the investment portfolio would be invested in. Everything is now much more set-and-forget, with the platform taking care of the buying for me. I also really like the projected performance graphs and the six-monthly catch-ups to review how everything is tracking.
